I'm a photographer based in Nova Scotia, Canada, drawn to the edge of things. Coastlines, street corners, the space between three exposures of the same frame.
My practice spans landscape, street, and what I call trichromes: a revival of early colour photography where three exposures, shot through red, green, and blue filters, are layered into a single image. Unlike the original technique, I let the world move freely between exposures. People, vehicles, and animals leave colour- separated traces, hidden in plain sight within the composite.
Nova Scotia gives me a particular light: Atlantic fog, granite coast, the long golden hours in autumn. It shows up in the landscapes, and it shows up in the streets of Halifax even when the subject is a crowd on a Tuesday afternoon.
